SSkunk2 Racing intake manifold improves airflow and significantly increases horsepower over stock manifolds on stock engines with even more potential on modified or forced-induction engines. Skunk2 manifolds are designed to increase the effects of wave scavenging at the engine’s optimum operating RPM range between 3000-8800 rpm; resulting in the broadest useable powerband increase in the industry. Each manifold is engineered with a larger plenum and tapered runner. The runner entry is also modified to balance airflow between cylinders. The manifolds are also designed with oversized throttle bodies in mind and can be ported to match 75mm throttle bodies. Like OEM factory manifolds, Skunk2 manifolds are cast from high grade aluminum and CNC machined, to achieve superior strength, high quality finish, and a precise fit. Each manifold is then vacuum tested to ensure quality and leakfree operation. All stock sensors and ports are reused for a simple bolt-on installation.

Manufacturing
CASTING: Left Image: This pot of molten metal contains the highest quality virgin 356 aluminum that will be transformed into Skunk2 Pro-Series Intake Manifolds. Right Image: The castings meeting Skunk2's quality standards are sealed and cleaned to meet our stringent surface finish requirements.
MACHINING/QUALITY ASSURANCE: Left Image: All manifolds are machined using 4-Axis CNC machining centers and are held in place using extremely precise heavy duty fixtures to guarantee an exact fit. Right Image: After machining, each manifold is checked for air leaks using this test fixture. The manifold is pressurized and submerged in water.

We recommend that to use the Skunk2 Intake manifolds with the D Series conversion.

Most Honda D Series intake manifolds are not suitable to modify for the MTD conversion.

You will also need a Silicone Intake hose kit to fit the Skunk2 Intake into the Standard length Mini

using the MTD or MTB2 Kits.
